Amazon Pay E-Gift Card
Terms and Conditions

GIFT CARD USAGE & REDEMPTION:

Taxability - As per the RBI Master Circular, a gift card is a payment instrument under the Payment & Settlement Act 2007.

There is no GST/TDS applicable on Gift Cards.

GST is applicable on the date of purchase of any product. Since the goods a customer purchases on Amazon.in have different tax slabs applied to them, total tax cannot be calculated at the initial transaction stage when the gift card is issued. Therefore, no GST is applied to Amazon Gift Cards. With reference to the HSN Code, there is currently no code defined by the Government of India for gift cards/vouchers.

The following limitations apply to Amazon Pay gift cards. QwikCilver may determine other limitations depending on India Payment Laws and RBI Master Circular.
