How do I redeem my voucher or offer?

The vouchers you win on unlocking a new milestone will have a code. To redeem it, you can copy paste the code or enter it manually at the checkout page of the app or website where the voucher is applicable. Click on ‘My Rewards’ section on WhatsApp to see all your rewards and T&C for each voucher.

Is my payment eligible for the rewards?

You accumulate Coins for all payments made using your RuPay Credit Card on UPI. On every ₹100 spent, you get 1 RuPay Coin.

Can I use the RuPay Scan and Score QR codes to make payments?

No, you cannot make payments or send money by scanning the RuPay Scan & Score QR codes. Scanning RuPay Scan & Score QR codes will direct you to the WhatsApp channel to take you on the rewarding journey of RuPay Scan and Score.

How many RuPay Coins can be accumulated by making payments with RuPay Credit card on UPI?

Payments with RuPay Credit Card on UPI have no boundaries. You can get an unlimited number of RuPay Coins by making payments with RuPay Credit card on UPI. Get 1 RuPay Coin on every ₹100 spent.

Why haven’t my RuPay Coins increased despite making payments using RuPay Credit card on UPI?

If payments are done today, the updated milestone journey along with the RuPay Coin balance will be displayed the next day. Also, there is certain criteria on the payments which are eligible for the RuPay Scan & Score campaign.

What is a voucher?

This vouchers are gifts/Present which are exchangeable against the goods & services.

How do I use my voucher?

Online – you need to apply the code in the promo & offers section before making the payment.

Offline – you need to show the voucher/code at the cash counter before making the payment.

Where can I use my voucher?

The voucher can be used on the partner’s website/app or store as applicable.

Can I combine my voucher with other offers or discounts?

Combining/Clubbing the voucher with existing offers & discount shall be at the partner’s discretion, whose voucher is issued

Can I get cash back for my voucher?

No, User cannot receive cashback against the vouchers.

Can I transfer my voucher to someone else?

Yes, the voucher can be transferred to another person on user’s discretion

What happens if I lose my voucher?

In case the voucher is lost by the user, there will be no obligation of replacement for the lost voucher

How do I check the balance of my voucher?

Is there any Minimum Order Value for Vouchers to redeem?

Voucher has no Minimum Order Value.

By participating in the RuPay Scan & Score Campaign (“Campaign”) you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).

1. Terms for participating in the Campaign

1.1. Duration

1.1.1. The Campaign will commence from 05th September, 2023 and shall continue until 31st December, 2023 (“Tenure”).

1.1.2. The Campaign Tenure can be modified or extended based on the sole and absolute discretion of NPCI.

1.2. Eligibility

1.2.1. Any User who is 18 or above years of age is eligible to participate in the Campaign and this Campaign is being carried out Pan India

1.2.2. Transaction Eligibility

1.2.2.1. A transaction will be considered eligible for RuPay Scan & Score Campaign (“Campaign”) provided it fulfils the following requirements:

  • Payer account type is RuPay Credit Card (“RCC”) through UPI
  • The transaction is a successful transaction
  • The transaction fulfils the below merchant categorisation
    • Small Online Merchants;
    • Large Online Merchants;
    • Large Offline Merchants;
    • Small Offline Merchants (Transaction value > ₹2000)
  • Only those transactions where interchange is applicable (refer circular NPCI/2022-23/RuPay/019-A ) is eligible for the Campaign
  • Transaction must be done within the Tenure, after participating in the Campaign
  • Transaction done on below Merchant category codes will not be considered

1.2.3. For Rewards Milestone Journey

1.2.3.1. Milestones will be unlocked at each stage on fulfilment of both the conditions (minimum number of cumulative Transactions & minimum cumulative Spend) set at each milestone. Transactions should qualify the eligibility criteria given in point 1.2.2.

1.2.3.2. Any new milestone will be unlocked only after the previous milestone is unlocked / fulfilled

1.2.3.3. Users will receive 1 RuPay Coin for every ₹100 spent through transactions done via UPI linked to RCC. Transactions should qualify the eligibility criteria given in point 1.2.2..

1.3. Offer & Voucher Terms

1.3.1. The applicability of offers and vouchers may vary for each participating merchant in this Campaign.

1.3.2. The offer & voucher terms may vary for each participating merchant in this Campaign.

1.3.3. The validity of offers & vouchers will vary for each participating merchant in this Campaign.

1.3.4. The offers are not transferable, non-negotiable and cannot be enchased at the retail participating stores.

1.3.5. The vouchers are non-negotiable and cannot be enchased at the retail participating stores.

1.3.6. The User acknowledges that the offers & vouchers offered by participating merchant shall be redeemed on the respective website and/or mobile application of the said participating merchant and the issue and use of such offers & vouchers will be in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions of the respective merchant.

1.3.7. The User acknowledges that NPCI disclaims all responsibility and liability associated with the offers and vouchers, including without limitation, any warranties associated with the offers & vouchers and/or additional costs associated with the offers & vouchers and its redemption

2. Collection and Usage of your information

2.1. We collect, process, use, store, transfer, disclose and share your information with your consent. By participating in the Campaign and providing your personal information, you consent to the processing of your personal information in accordance with these Terms.

2.2. NPCI (“We, Us, Our”) collects personal and financial information from you when you scan the QR code or attempt to scan the QR Code or interact with NPCI, such as:

2.2.1 Personal information such as your name, photograph, date of birth, email id/address, phone number, profile details, gender, address and other personally identifiable information provided by you to participate in the Campaign.

2.2.2 Financial and transaction information such as your bank account details, card details, other financial transaction related information (including but not limited to, transaction details and history, etc.).

2.2.3 Your device details like device identifier, SIM details, location, cookies, plug-ins.

2.3. In general, the information you submit to us is used either to provide services to you or respond to requests that you make, by us or our service providers, in the following ways:

  • To send you an e-mail or message in relation to the Campaign, including offers and promotional materials;
  • To identify you as a user in our system;
  • To send you administrative e-mails, messages or notifications;
  • To resolve disputes, meet legal obligations.
  • To click photographs of the Winner and use the Winner’s name and photograph, for advertising and promotional purposes in any media worldwide, only for the purposes of advertising and without any additional compensation whatsoever to the Winner

2.4. We may share your personal information in relation to the Campaign for the purposes of processing your transactions and other instructions with different persons/entities or participating in a payment system, service providers, business associates, government and regulatory authorities, consultants and internal departments.

2.5. We may share your personal information, on a need to know basis, for the following purposes:

2.5.1. Grievances. For grievance redressal and dispute management related to the Campaign;

2.5.2. Fraud and Risk management. For verification, investigation or prevention of frauds or to manage risks (including risk mitigation) or recover funds in accordance with applicable laws or for customer awareness and safety;

2.6. Where your information is shared with service providers, merchants or any regulatory or government authorities, the use and processing of your information is governed by their respective policies. NPCI ensures strict obligations for protection of your information are imposed on these entities, wherever applicable and to the extent possible/feasible for NPCI. However, we do not accept any responsibility or liability for usage of your information by these third parties or their policies.

3. Other terms

3.1. NPCI will not be responsible or liable in case the transaction could not be done due to but not limited to malfunction, delay, traffic congestion on any telephone network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or website.

3.2. NPCI may, at any time change, amend, add or delete the terms and conditions associated with the campaign and communicate the changes to you and the member banks from time to time.

3.3. NPCI also reserves the right to amend, modify including the right to discontinue the Campaign without assigning any reasons or without any prior intimation whatsoever.

3.4. NPCI holds out no warranty or makes no representation about the transportation, quality, delivery or otherwise of the goods and services offered or sold as part of the Campaign. Any dispute or claim regarding the goods and services must be resolved by you with the seller directly without any reference to NPCI.

3.5. Decision made by NPCI will be final and binding on you.

4. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and the relationship between you and NPCI shall be governed by the laws of the India as applied to agreements made, entered into, and performed entirely in India, notwithstanding your actual place of residence. The appropriate courts and forums located at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any proceedings arising out of the Campaign. NPCI may, however, in its absolute discretion commence any legal action or proceedings arising out of the Campaign in any other court, tribunal or other appropriate forum and you hereby consent to that jurisdiction
